FIGURE 1.9 Auxin causes coleoptile to bend toward the direction of sunlight.
The addition of auxin hormones in plant will induce seedless fruit formation, lateral (side) roots, and root hairs. Formation of lateral and fibrous roots improves the process of water and mineral absorption.
