What Is DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid,) is one of two of nucleic acid types. Another  type of nucleic acid  is RNA  (ribonucleic acid,).

DNA is a genetic material in the cell of every  living organism and most virus.  It carries  required  information  in protein synthesis and replication. Protein synthesis  is the process  in which cell build protein  required  by cell or virus for activities and growth  . Replication  is the process in which DNA copies  itself and it will be bequeathed  to each daughter cell or virus, and also gives information required in protein  synthesis.
