Structure And Function Of Cell Organelle Golgi Complex

Golgi complex (apparatus; body; device) is an organelle with flat sack shape concentrated on one of the nucleus side and often found in gland cell. In plant cell, Golgi complex is often called dictysome.

Golgi complex has several functions as follows

1.      To carry and change the materials within it chemically.

2.      To produce mucosa, wax, sap and sticky secretion.

3.      To secrete protein glycoprotein, carbohydrate, and lipid and also to transport lipid.

4.      To form lysosome and active digestive enzyme (zymogen and coenzyme).
